The Petoskey Steel Drum Band is one of Michigan’s most exciting and sought-after student performance groups, known for its high-energy Caribbean sound and dynamic stage presence. Based in northern Michigan, the ensemble features dozens of talented student musicians performing on authentic steel drums.

The group has performed on some of the country’s biggest stages, including multiple appearances at Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Chicago’s Festival of Lights Parade. They have also brought their vibrant sound to audiences at Walt Disney World and major festivals throughout the Midwest.

With a lively mix of calypso, reggae, and popular music, the Petoskey Steel Drum Band delivers an unforgettable performance that gets audiences of all ages moving. Their appearance is always a highlight, bringing a fun, festive energy that perfectly complements the spirit of the Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival.
