The Shepherd Maple Syrup Festival wouldn’t be possible without the incredible people who make it happen. Every year, over 800 volunteers come together to plan, organize, operate, and bring this beloved festival to life.

The Shepherd Sugar Bush needs volunteers to help collect sap each season. Sap collection typically takes place from late February through early March.

It requires nearly 500 volunteers to feed the, roughly, 8,000 festival goers who enjoy the All-You-Can-Eat Pancake & Sausage Meals each year.
